Hi! I'm Kenza, a research scientist at European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts working on flood forecasting. I am broadly interested in machine learning, uncertainty quantification and climate change. I previously completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge and the British Antarctic Survey under the supervision of Richard E Turner, Andrew Orr, J Scott Hosking, and Javier González.

I have always enjoyed the outdoors, especially exploring mountains. In 2014, I represented Morocco at the Sochi Winter Olympics in alpine skiing. Now, I also contribute to climate and environmental advocacy and policy in order to protect these spaces in addition to my research.
