Hi! I’m a research scientist at European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasts working on flood forecasting. I previously completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Richard E. Turner, Scott Hosking, Andrew Orr, and Javier González. In this website, you’ll find some of my recent projects and academic resources.

Research Interests

• Environment and climate change, I’ve studied clouds, precipitation and wildfires
• Machine learning, in particular the Bayesian kind
• Climate and environmental policy, including climate adaptation, decarbonisation and microplastic pollution

Other Interests

• Outdoors, in particular exploring mountains. In 2014, I represented Morocco at the Sochi Winter Olympics in alpine skiing
