Hi! I'm Kenza, a research scientist at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts working on flood forecasting. I am broadly interested in machine learning, uncertainty quantification and climate change. I previously completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge and the British Antarctic Survey under the supervision of Richard E Turner, Andrew Orr, J Scott Hosking, and Javier González.
I have always enjoyed the outdoors, especially exploring mountains. In 2014, I represented Morocco at the Sochi Winter Olympics in alpine skiing. Now, in addition to my research, I contribute to environmental advocacy and policy to protect these spaces.
